Review: American Son

Zack Mason is an ordinary boy, working his way quietly through high school. When armed terrorists take over the school, Zack must summon all his courage to lead his classmates in victory against the threat.

Ian Garner, the son of Hank Garner, released his newest short story the other day called American Son.  Ian has one other story out called Whispers.  American Son is the first story by Ian that I have read.

American Son is a short story, Amazon say 24 pages.  This is a story that you could read on your lunch break or when you have an extra few minutes.  Overall, the story is great.  There were two major twists at the end that I did not see coming.  Ian shows us that he an author that you need to be watching because he will end up blowing your socks off.  I cannot wait to see what else he writes.

Rating:  8.5/10 Stars
